Urgent Care For Kids

When your child gets sick or injured and you cannot get an appointment with their pediatrician right away, taking them to urgent care is a good option to make sure they get the care that they need. At the new Denver Health Downtown Urgent Care, we treat all patients, including children six months of age and older.

"All of our providers and nurses at the Denver Health Downtown Urgent Care have specific pediatric training to take care of your child's health care needs," said Denver Health Downtown Urgent Care medical director Michael Breyer, M.D.

Common children's symptoms that are treated at urgent care include:

  • Cough and cold
  • Abdominal pain
  • Vomiting
  • Diarrhea

See a complete list of symptoms treated at urgent care and find out when to take your child to urgent care versus the emergency room. If your child's condition is serious or life-threatening, call 911 immediately.

The Denver Health Downtown Urgent care features a special exam room, decorated just for kids. Our goal is to make sure both children and their parents are as comfortable as possible during their visit. No appointments are needed, and you can walk-in or check-in online.
