How to Dispose of Your Old Medication

Help keep prescription drug waste out of the water supply and out of lakes and streams. If your medicine cabinet is full of expired or unused medication, it needs to be disposed of properly. National Prescription Drug Take Back Day happens twice every year, but you can safely drop off your old or expired drugs anytime during normal business hours at seven of Denver Health’s clinic pharmacies (not available yet at the new Outpatient Medical Center Pharmacy).
