Child Health Plan Plus (CHP+) is a low-cost health plan for children from birth through age 18. Children who are approved for CHP+ must enroll in a health plan and must not have any other insurance. Children who live in Denver, Jefferson, Arapahoe, or Adams counties can enroll in Denver Health Medical Plan, Inc. (DHMP) as their health plan. As a DHMP member, your child can get care at any of Denver Health’s nine family health centers throughout metro Denver as well as 15 Denver Health school-based health centers. In addition, CHP+ members enrolled with DHMP pay no copays for covered visits and medicines and have expanded benefits including eyewear and hearing aids.
