Dr. Robin Yasui is the medical director of Denver Health’s geriatric services. Both Dr. Yasui and her partner, Dr. Elizabeth Clarke, see patients in primary care as well as in consultation. Both hold faculty appointments at the University of Colorado School of Medicine and have been recognized as outstanding clinicians and educators.
As part of their mission to educate others about the unique health care needs in aging, Dr. Clarke and Dr. Yasui mentor students and residents from the University of Colorado and Regis University and give talks throughout the community on aging issues. In addition, Dr. Yasui works extensively with community and governmental agencies assessing and serving the needs of Denver’s aging population. She is also working on the regional level to advance awareness and action to prevent elder abuse.
