Follow-Up Care for Your Baby

In the first year of your child’s life, he or she will need to visit the doctor regularly. Before you leave the hospital, our staff will assist you in scheduling the first appointment for your newborn. The first appointment is usually set two to three days after you take your baby home. It is helpful to select a provider for your baby before he or she is born. Denver Health has many options for primary care, including the Kid's Care Clinic that was designed especially for children.

 We can help you with:

  • Newborn circumcision
  • Pediatric services
  • Sudden Infant Death Syndrome
  • Women, Infant & Children Program (commonly known as WIC)
