Mobile Health Centers

Take a Tour of The Mobile Health Centers. (Haga un recorrido por los centros de salud móviles)

Our Mobile Health Centers provide access to high-quality health care by bringing the care right to your neighborhood

The Mobile Health concept at Denver Health started with one vehicle in 2002, providing breast and cervical cancer screenings across Denver. Through a generous grant from the Anschutz Foundation, we added a second Mobile Health Center in November of 2020 and a federal grant provided a third in February 2021. The second van will provide primary care services and the third will continue providing vaccines (including COVID-19 vaccine) to the community.

Mobile Health Center 4: Mobile Opioid Medication Assisted Treatment (MOMAT) Program

The Mobile Opioid Medication Assisted Treatment or “MOMAT” unit will provide patients the opportunity to receive their Methadone treatment at a Denver Health Community Clinic. MOMAT will provide Methadone dosing locations to complement our primary location at Outpatient Behavioral Health Services (Pavilion K) on the main Denver Health campus.  The mobile unit may be more convenient for those living on Denver’s west side or near downtown.  The mobile unit will provide counseling, care navigation and peer support.  Most importantly, the mobile unit will also provide an opportunity for individuals in treatment to access co-located primary care services, including integrated behavioral health, dental care, family planning, and other services
